Riding With Sir August

Frank recalls the moment he first saw Augie Meyers. It was on the show Shindig! with The Sir Douglas Quintet and Frank was only fourteen years old. They played 'She's About A Mover' and Augie had a great sound, then years later who knew what great friends they've become.

He talks about the first time he met him, it was at the rehearsals for John Hammond's Wicked Grin tour. There was Larry Taylor, Steve Hodges, Augie and John Hammond and Frank didn't know anybody. The story goes on from there.

Then he talks about recording Augies solo project with The Bandoleros and touring for that.

Also Frank talks about how he spent his recent birthdays on the road. He spent his last birthday in England and he spent a birthday with John Hammond and the gang, And then spent another birthday with Bad Company.
